“I’ve always used art as a way to put my thoughts onto paper, especially when words weren’t enough. I think all art, even the doodles in notebook margins, say something about who we are. It’s this very concept that I want to bring to these students: I want to help them express themselves, the way I learned to as a kid.”

“Art has been a constant in my life; whether it be through painting, photography, or sculpture, I’ve always relied on these mediums to communicate all the words I’ve never been able say. As the building block of individuality and identity, I hope to share that with these children in hopes for them to use art in the same way.”
